The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort (CCDRE) Resource Center in Washington has helped over 600 families from Washington, East Peoria, Pekin and Roanoke since the devastating tornado in November.  Relief center volunteers talk with people every day about the struggles they are facing because of the storm.

Bryan Reeves Director for the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort in Central Illinois said, “We have been providing families with help for their physical needs but we also realize they need help with their emotional needs.  The first thing we want to do is find ways to help people get their minds off their troubles, even if it is only for a short time.”
